North Greenbush A longtime town volunteer and current chief of the Wynantskill Volunteer Fire Department is expected tonight to be named as the newest member of the town's Planning Board.
John Hanlon, an electrical contractor known for his service and commitment to the Wynantskill community, is the name that will be submitted by a majority of Town Board members, Councilman Bill O'Neil confirmed Tuesday.
O'Neil said Hanlon's name was discussed by several board members as a good choice for the empty slot vacated by former board member John Hardy, who resigned.
