1. LAKE ONTARIO -- A number of nice browns being caught at 30 feet down in 60 feet of water. Lakers being taken at 120 feet. Bass season opens Saturday. Many of the bass still will be on their spawning beds and should be very aggressive.
2. SALMON RIVER -- Very little happening. Most anglers moved to Lake Ontario.
3. AUSABLE -- Conditions are fair, but check the water level daily. If fishable, green Drakes, Sulphers and Caddis are plentiful. Nymphs and Streamers working in the high water.
4. LAKE CHAMPLAIN -- Plenty of pike being taken throughout. Lakers hitting on the bottom using smelt. Reports of a good start to the bass season. The Lake …
