NSW: Amphetamine Lab discovered
Six people have been arrested after police raided an illegal amphetamine laboratoryin Sydney's far west yesterday.
Police searched a five acre block at Llandilo, near Penrith at about 5pm (AEST).
They arrested four men and a woman allegedly manufacturing amphetamines.
While still at the premises, police arrested a second woman who arrived at the houseallegedly in possession of ecstasy tablets.
A 35-year-old man from Llandilo, a 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old man from St Marys,a 24-year-old man from Berkshire Park and a 32-year-old woman from Rooty Hill have allbeen charged with knowingly manufacturing a prohibited drug and several other charges.
A 32-year-old Tregear woman's been charged with supply and possess prohibited drugs.
The six people remain in custody and will appear at Penrith Local Court later today.
During the search an elderly male resident of the premises collapsed and was takento Nepean Hospital where he remains in a satisfactory condition.
